This is the latest - Tried to get away from the very warm colors that I love....I think I could have done a better job with the values to give it more contrast but overall I like the feeling!
This is a nice piece, Nancy. Very soft and evocative. Indeed, more contrast could have given more character to the watercolor. But you know, it is always a choice, staying soft or becoming contrasted. Good work with the negative painting btw !

Thanks, Catherine - luckily the actual painting does show a bit more contrast...I like it stronger....and, I'm happy to report I have sold it!
